Model of organization, management and control pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001
Edge Consulting has adopted a Model of organization, management and control in application of Legislative Decree 231/2001 (the "Model 231") on the subject of regulating the administrative responsibility of entities.
According to these regulations, the company can be held liable, and consequently sanctioned, in relation to certain offences committed or attempted, in the interest or to the advantage of the company itself, by persons working in "top positions" or by "subordinates". However, the company is not liable if it proves that it "has adopted and effectively implemented" an organisational, management and control model capable of preventing the commission of offences.
Through the voluntary adoption of the Model 231, Edge Consulting wanted to strengthen the instruments of protection and guarantee in the pursuit of its objectives and improve the sensitivity of those who work on its behalf on the importance of complying with the ethical principles to which the company is inspired, in order to perform its activities at the highest levels of legitimacy, fairness and transparency.
Whistleblowing
Edge Consulting S.r.l. provides a new IT whistleblowing channel for employees, collaborators, and suppliers to report any illegal conduct encountered in the course of their work activities.
Law No. 179/2017 introduced new and significant protections for whistleblowers and required public and private organizations to use IT methods and encryption tools to ensure the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity, all individuals mentioned in the report, the content of the reports, and the related documentation. Legislative Decree No. 33/2024 later confirmed the need to use channels that protect the confidentiality of reports.
Reporting through this new online platform activated by Edge Consulting S.r.l. offers many advantages for your security and greater confidentiality:
- The report is made by filling out a questionnaire and can also be submitted anonymously;
- The report is received by the person responsible for managing reports and is handled ensuring the confidentiality of the whistleblower and the report from a technological standpoint;
- The platform allows for dialogue, even anonymously, between the whistleblower and the person responsible for whistleblowing for clarification or further information requests, without the need to provide personal contact details;
- The report can be made from any digital device (PC, tablet, smartphone) and confidentiality is guaranteed in every circumstance.
